The reliability the field demands: the verified answer, source in hand

In the field, an assistant's real value comes down to one thing: being able to
trust its answer — and verify it yourself at a glance. At
2 a.m., alone in front of a machine, a technician wants the official
procedure. That's exactly where Manent concentrates its engineering.
What the research says
Research is clear on the path to trustworthy answers: the most solid route is
grounding — making sure every claim rests on a verifiable
source (Ji et al., 2023). The higher the stakes — and industrial maintenance
is high — the more an answer's verifiability matters: an
answer you can trace back to its page is worth infinitely more than one that's
merely plausible.
The lesson the field has drawn is not "a bigger model," but a system that
always shows where what it states comes from.
What we do at Manent
The whole engine is built to deliver the technician an answer they can
rely on with their eyes closed — because they can reopen them on the
page:
- The source first. When your documents contain the answer,
Manent returns it as is, faithful to the text.
- Verified before it's shown. Every claim is checked against
its sources; what appears is what's supported.
- Exact citation, always. File, section, page: the
technician confirms it themselves, in a second. That's trust.
- A case outside what's documented? Manent cites what it has
and connects you with your expert — the right person, at the right
moment.
- Safety, word for word. Safety instructions are returned
verbatim, as written in your documents.
The right way to think about it: Manent
doesn't ask to be taken at its word. It gives the answer and the exact
address to confirm it. The technician decides, the page in hand.
